Description
The Delmar is a 360mm square flush ceiling light from Diyas combining a frosted glass panel, clear glass border and a cluster of Asfour crystal spheres suspended above an antique brass backplate. Four G9 bulbs (sold separately) sit behind the frosted glass, diffusing light evenly across the ceiling and into the room, while the crystal cluster at the centre creates reflected light points that shift as you move through the space.
Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2-2.6m where a traditional pendant would hang too low, the Delmar offers ambient and decorative lighting in a 150mm-deep flush-mount fitting. The 360mm footprint suits hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms (non-IP rated, keep dry), and dining rooms where ceiling clearance matters. The frosted panel softens the four bulb sources into a single glowing square, and the clear glass border frames the edge, adding definition against white or neutral ceilings.
The antique brass finish has a warm, slightly aged tone that pairs well with traditional interiors, warm wood furniture and transitional schemes mixing contemporary furniture with classical details. The Asfour crystal spheres are facet-cut rather than smooth, so they catch and scatter light when the fitting is switched on, creating a focal point at ceiling level. The four G9 sockets accept dimmable G9 LED capsules, allowing output to be adjusted from full brightness for task use to lower levels for evening ambient light.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Delmar take?
The fitting takes four G9 capsule bulbs up to 33W each, sold separately. Most users pair this with 3-5W warm-white LED G9 capsules at 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting. Total light output depends on the bulbs chosen.
Is it suitable for low ceilings?
Yes. The 150mm projection from ceiling to base of the glass panel makes it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights from 2.2m upwards, where a pendant would hang too low or feel oppressive.
Is the Delmar dimmable?
The fitting itself is compatible with dimming, but you must use dimmable G9 LED bulbs and pair them with a compatible LED dimmer switch. Non-dimmable bulbs or incompatible dimmers will cause flickering or failure to dim.
Can it be used in bathrooms?
The Delmar carries no IP rating and is not rated for bathroom zones. It can be used in a bathroom only if installed outside the defined zones (typically more than 600mm from a bath or shower and not directly above either).
