Description

The Dawn is a 4-light semi-flush ceiling light built around a matt black open cage frame holding four opal white glass globes. The cage measures 455mm square and projects 455mm from the ceiling base plate, sitting lower than a traditional pendant but with more depth than a flush-mount, which suits rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.7m where a pendant would hang too low.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, kitchens and living rooms needing overhead ambient light without the projection of a full pendant, the Dawn mounts directly to a standard UK ceiling rose and the four E27 bulbs (sold separately) sit inside the frame rather than below it. The opal white glass diffuses light evenly across the room while the black cage adds a visible geometric structure that works in both modern and industrial interiors.

The open cage construction allows air circulation around the bulbs, which helps with heat dissipation and extends bulb life compared to fully enclosed flush-mounts. The matt black powder-coated steel frame resists fingerprints and the 455mm footprint provides enough light spread for rooms up to approximately 15 square metres when fitted with four warm-white LED bulbs at 8-10W each. The fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable E27 bulbs and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer.
