Description
The Davos is a 100mm square outdoor wall light in an anthracite powder-coat finish, housing an integrated 6W LED that delivers 1100 lumens at 4000K cool white. The light exits from top and bottom apertures in a dual-beam configuration, casting upward and downward wash onto the wall surface behind the fitting.
Designed for exterior entrances, patio walls, garden boundaries and pathway lighting, the Davos fits directly onto brick, rendered or timber-clad walls using a rear mounting plate. The 100mm projection from the wall creates a visible architectural accent while keeping the fitting compact enough for narrow side passages and covered porches. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any angle, making the fitting suitable for open-air installation in UK weather.
The anthracite finish is a dark grey powder-coat that sits between matt black and charcoal, pairing cleanly with slate, grey render, dark timber cladding and industrial-style metal accents. The 100mm cube form creates a defined shadow line on the wall during daylight and a crisp geometric silhouette when lit at night. The dual-beam output produces distinct upward and downward light cones rather than a diffuse glow, which works well for highlighting architectural features or creating a repeating rhythm when multiple Davos fittings are spaced along a wall run.
The integrated LED is non-replaceable and rated for approximately 25,000 hours of operation, equivalent to around 6-7 years of nightly use. The 4000K colour temperature delivers a neutral white light closer to daylight than the warmer 2700K-3000K range typically used indoors, which helps with visibility and security applications. The fitting is not dimmable.

Frequently Asked
What does IP54 mean for outdoor use?
IP54 means the fitting is dust-protected and splash-proof from any direction. It can be installed in open-air locations exposed to rain, but should not be submerged or placed where it will be hit by sustained water jets (such as directly under a downpipe outlet or in a power-washing zone).
Does the light shine upwards, downwards, or both?
Both. The Davos has apertures at the top and bottom of the housing, creating a dual-beam effect that washes light up and down the wall. There is no forward-facing light output — all light is directed onto the wall surface.
Can the LED be replaced when it fails?
No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. It is rated for approximately 25,000 hours (around 6-7 years of typical nightly use). At the end of its service life, the entire fitting would need to be replaced.
What colour is anthracite compared to black?
Anthracite is a dark grey powder-coat finish, lighter than matt black but darker than mid-grey. It sits somewhere between charcoal and gunmetal, and pairs well with slate, grey render, and dark timber cladding without the stark contrast of pure black.
