Description

The Crispieri is a square LED flush ceiling light built from three overlapping square frames set on a long rectangular base. A larger frame sits in the centre, with a smaller one stepped out at each side, and a speckled grey stone effect panel runs the length of the base behind them. The steel body is finished in light grey stone effect, and white plastic diffusers line the frames, so the light comes from the squares themselves. It measures 68cm long, 33cm wide and 8cm high, and gives out 4,500lm. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in a dry room.

At 68cm long and only 8cm high, it suits rooms where a pendant would hang too low: living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and studies with standard or lower ceilings. With 4,500lm from one fitting, it has the output to serve as the main light in a good-sized room, so you are not relying on lamps dotted around the corners. We like how the rectangular shape lines up neatly above a sofa, a dining table or the length of a bed, and the stone effect detail brings a natural, textured note that sits comfortably with wood, linen and soft neutrals.

It is not dimmable and runs from your ordinary wall switch, so it comes on at full output every time with nothing extra to pair or programme. Each square frame stands off the base on short posts, which gives the light its layered look, and the white diffusers soften the glow along every edge. As a wired-in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz, and the packed weight is 2.06KG, which is worth knowing before the day of fitting.
