Description

The Coniston is an 80cm diameter acorn-shaped crystal chandelier carrying 30 E14 bulbs across a tiered polished chrome frame, built for double-height entrance halls and stairwells with ceiling heights between 3.5m and 6m. The tapering acorn profile measures 800mm at its widest point and drops between 1770mm and 4220mm depending on how much chain is used on installation, giving flexibility to set the chandelier at the right height relative to floor level and balcony sight lines.

Each of the 30 tiers carries a ring of clear crystal beads strung on a polished chrome armature, creating a dense cascade of refraction points. When lit, the 30 bulbs push light through hundreds of individual crystal surfaces, projecting prismatic patterns onto surrounding walls and ceilings. The chandelier weighs 84.1kg when fully assembled, so installation requires a ceiling joist capable of supporting the load and a ceiling rose rated for the combined weight of the fitting, chain and bulbs.

The polished chrome finish on the frame and canopy provides a high-gloss reflective surface that amplifies the light output from the E14 bulbs and reinforces the visual drama of the crystal tiers.
