Description

The Coniston is an 800mm-diameter acorn-shaped crystal chandelier carrying 30 E14 bulb fittings across a tiered French gold metal frame. The chandelier tapers from a wide 800mm crown to a narrow point at the base, forming an inverted teardrop profile built from hundreds of faceted clear crystal droplets arranged in densely packed tiers. Each tier overlaps the one below, creating a continuous crystal surface that refracts light in multiple directions when the chandelier is lit.

Designed for double-height entrance halls, staircases and vaulted living spaces with ceiling heights of 4m or more, the Coniston provides both ambient and decorative illumination across a large vertical volume. The chandelier ships with an adjustable chain allowing total drop lengths from 1770mm minimum to 4220mm maximum, so it can be set to suit the specific ceiling height and floor clearance of the installation space. The 30 E14 bulbs (sold separately) are distributed evenly around the frame, providing 360-degree light output.

The French gold finish on the metal frame provides a warmer, slightly muted gold tone compared to polished brass, with a low-sheen surface that reduces reflections and gives the metal a more aged appearance. The frame itself is largely hidden behind the crystal tiers when viewed from below, so the gold acts as a subtle backing rather than a dominant visual element.
