The Coniston 3 light flush ceiling light mounts a polished chrome circular frame directly to the ceiling, holding three E14 bulb fittings (bulbs sold separately) surrounded by cascading strands of faceted crystal droplets. The flush mount design sits close to the ceiling at 390mm projection, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where a pendant or semi-flush fitting would hang too low.

Designed for bedrooms, low-ceilinged living rooms, hallways and entrance halls, the Coniston provides ambient light through the combination of direct bulb output and the refracted sparkle from hundreds of individual crystal elements. The polished chrome frame reflects the surrounding room and provides a clean metallic accent that pairs with contemporary, transitional and traditional interiors. The 800mm diameter covers enough ceiling area to act as a main room light in spaces up to 12-15m².

The crystal droplets are individually hung on wire loops fixed to the chrome frame, creating layers of faceted glass that catch and scatter light when the bulbs are on. Each crystal strand moves slightly in air currents, adding subtle visual movement. The fitting accepts three E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to 20W each — pairing with dimmable LED bulbs allows brightness to be adjusted from full ambient output down to low evening lighting. The substantial 24.3kg weight requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or ceiling rose rated for the load.

Is this suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The flush mount design sits 390mm below the ceiling, making it appropriate for ceiling heights of 2.1m and above where a pendant or semi-flush fitting would hang too low or feel visually heavy.

What bulbs does it take?

The Coniston takes three E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to 20W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for ambient bedroom or living room lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs. The fitting itself does not include a dimmer — dimming is controlled by a compatible wall dimmer switch or smart bulb system.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Individual crystal droplets can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth while the fitting is switched off and cool. For deeper cleaning, droplets can be unhooked from the wire loops, washed in warm soapy water, rinsed, dried thoroughly and re-hung. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the fitting while crystals are attached.
