Description

The Coniston is a 400mm crystal flush ceiling light with 12 x E14 bulb fittings arranged in concentric tiers inside an antique brass circular frame. The frame sits close to the ceiling at 250mm total drop, with cascading clear crystal droplets suspended from the brass band in three descending rows that create a domed profile. Each crystal is facet-cut to refract light from the 12 bulbs, scattering warm reflections across the ceiling and upper walls.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.7m where a traditional chandelier drop would be impractical, the Coniston delivers chandelier-style crystal light in a flush-mount format. The fitting suits dining rooms, hallways, traditional living rooms and master bedrooms where the ceiling needs to remain clear but decorative impact is still wanted. The antique brass finish shows a patinated tone darker than polished brass, with a muted sheen that absorbs rather than reflects ambient light from windows or other fittings.

The 12-light configuration spreads illumination evenly across a 4m x 4m room when paired with 3-5W LED candle bulbs at 2700K-3000K (bulbs sold separately). The crystals are machine-cut glass rather than lead crystal, keeping the weight at 5.9kg while still producing the refractive sparkle associated with traditional chandeliers. The flush mount plate covers a standard UK ceiling rose and the fitting is compatible with dimmable LED bulbs when paired with an appropriate dimmer switch.
