Description
This COB LED strip light delivers a continuous, dot-free line of light along a flexible reel, with none of the visible spotting you get from older spaced-diode tape. It draws 8W per metre and gives 760 lumens per metre in a crisp 4000K cool white, with a high Ra90 colour rendering that keeps surfaces and finishes looking true. Sold by many simply as LED tape, it ships on a 25 metre reel that cuts to length at the marked points every 2.5cm, so a run can be sized exactly to the job.
Because the line of light is even and glare-controlled, it works well tucked into cove and pelmet details, run under kitchen wall units, along shelving, or set into a recessed channel for an unbroken edge of light. The 760 lumens per metre suits accent and under-cabinet tasks rather than lighting a whole room, so coverage is best judged by the length of run you light rather than a floor area. Plan the reel against the length of the detail you want to pick out, then cut at the nearest 2.5cm mark.
The strip runs on 12V DC and needs a matching 12V LED driver, which is supplied separately and sized to the total wattage of the cut length you use. It is rated IP00, so it is for dry indoor positions only and should be kept clear of bathrooms, damp areas and any outdoor location. Rated for 30,000 hours, the flexible backing follows gentle curves and the cool white tone holds steady along the run.

Frequently Asked
Does this strip need a separate driver?
Yes. It runs on 12V DC, so it cannot be wired straight to the mains and needs a matching 12V LED driver. Size the driver to the total wattage of the length you cut, allowing 8W for every metre used.
Can the strip be cut to length?
Yes. It cuts at the marked points every 2.5cm along the reel, so you can trim a run to fit the detail exactly. Only cut at those marked intervals, never between them.
Can it be used outdoors or in a bathroom?
No. This strip is rated IP00, which means dry indoor use only. Keep it out of bathrooms, damp areas and any outdoor or sheltered-outdoor position.
How do I keep it clean?
Switch it off and let it cool, then wipe the surface gently with a dry or barely damp soft cloth. Avoid solvents and do not let moisture reach the diodes or the cut ends, as the strip has no water protection.
