Description
This COB LED strip is a continuous, dot-free line of diodes on a flexible reel, giving an even run of light with no visible spotting along its length. Sold as led strip lights on a 5m reel, it draws 8W per metre and puts out 660 lumens per metre in a warm white 3000K tone, with a high CRI of Ra90 for accurate colour. In US terms this is led tape light or under-cabinet light strip. It runs on 24V DC, so it needs a matching LED driver rather than a direct mains connection.
Because it is rated IP65, the strip suits damp and sheltered outdoor locations as well as indoor runs: under kitchen cabinets, along coving and skirting, behind shelving, and around patios, soffits and pergolas. The continuous COB format throws a smooth wash of light rather than a focused beam, which makes it well suited to cove lighting, edge outlines and indirect ambient effects. Plan the run to suit the space, since the reel cuts to length at the marked points.
The strip cuts to length every 2cm at the marked cut points, so it can be trimmed to fit a precise span. It is supplied on a 5m reel and runs from a 24V DC LED driver, which is sold separately and must be matched to the total wattage of the length you install. The IP65 coating seals the diodes against moisture and dust for use in wet and exposed positions. Rated for 30,000 hours, it is a flexible base for both decorative and task lighting schemes across our wider strip range.

Frequently Asked
Does this strip need a driver?
Yes. It runs on 24V DC, so it cannot connect straight to the mains and needs a 24V LED driver, which is sold separately. Match the driver to the total wattage of the length you install, allowing 8W for every metre used.
Can the strip be cut to length?
Yes. It can be trimmed every 2cm at the marked cut points along the reel. Cut only at those points so the circuit stays intact, and the supplied 5m reel can be shortened to fit your run exactly.
Is it suitable for outdoor or damp areas?
Yes. With an IP65 rating the strip is sealed against moisture and dust, so it works in bathrooms, sheltered outdoor runs, patios and pergolas. It is not designed for full submersion, so keep it clear of standing water.
What light does it give out?
Each metre delivers 660 lumens in a warm white 3000K tone, with a high CRI of Ra90 for natural-looking colour. The COB format gives a continuous, dot-free line of light, which makes it well suited to cove, outline and indirect lighting.
