Description
This COB LED strip light gives a continuous, dot-free line of light along a flexible 5 metre reel, with no visible diodes to spot through a diffuser. It draws 8W per metre and puts out 740 lumens per metre in a cool white 4000K tone, with CRI Ra90 for accurate colour. US buyers will know this format as COB LED tape light. The strip runs on 24V DC and cuts to length every 2 cm at the marked points, so a run can be trimmed to fit the exact span you need.
Use it for indoor accent and task runs where a smooth band of light suits the job better than spaced dots, such as under kitchen cabinets, along shelving, inside coving or as a cove and skirting wash. The even output reads as a clean line rather than a string of points, which makes it well suited to grazing along an edge or lining a recess. At 740 lumens per metre it adds a bright, glare-controlled layer behind a diffuser. Plan the layout around a continuous span and cut only at the 2 cm intervals so each section keeps its full circuit.
Built on a flexible reel for tight bends and edge mounting, the strip is rated IP00, so keep it to dry interior locations and clear of bathrooms, damp areas and any outdoor position. Being a 24V DC strip it is not a mains-direct fitting and needs a matching 24V LED driver, sold separately, sized to the total wattage of the run. Rated for 30,000 hours, it cuts cleanly at the marked points and is supplied as a 5 metre reel. The COB strip range also includes warm white and higher-output reels.

Frequently Asked
Does this strip need a driver?
Yes. It is a 24V DC strip, not a mains-direct fitting, so it needs a matching 24V LED driver, which is sold separately. Size the driver to the total wattage of your cut length, allowing for 8W per metre.
Where can the strip be cut?
It cuts to length every 2 cm at the marked cut points along the reel. Only cut at those marks, as each segment needs its full circuit to light correctly. The full reel is 5 metres.
Can it be used outdoors or in a bathroom?
No. This strip is rated IP00 and is for dry indoor use only. Keep it out of bathrooms, damp areas and any outdoor or sheltered-outdoor position, and choose a coated IP65 strip for those locations instead.
How bright is it and what colour?
It produces 740 lumens per metre in a cool white 4000K tone, with a CRI of Ra90 for accurate colour. The dot-free COB format gives a smooth, continuous line of light rather than visible points.
