Description
This COB LED strip light gives a continuous, dot-free line of light along a flexible reel, drawing 7.5W per metre and putting out 690 lumens per metre in a crisp 4000K cool white. The diodes sit edge to edge rather than in spaced points, so the run reads as one even line with no visible dotting, which is what sets a COB led strip apart from a standard SMD led tape. The reel is cut to length at the marked points every 5cm, letting the run be sized to the space rather than fixed at a set length.
Indoor settings suit this strip best, since the IP00 rating means it must stay dry and away from damp or outdoor positions. It works well as under-cabinet and shelf lighting in kitchens, as cove and pelmet lighting that washes a ceiling or wall, and as accent lines behind joinery or display units. The throw is a soft, close-range graze rather than a wide room flood, so it earns its place close to the surface it lights, building layered light alongside the main fittings rather than replacing them.
The strip runs on 24V DC, so it needs a matching 24V LED driver sized to the total load, which is supplied separately rather than wired straight to the mains. Each metre draws 7.5W, with a CRI of Ra 90 for accurate colour and a rated life of 30,000 hours. Cut only at the 5cm marks to keep the circuit intact. The 20m reel covers long unbroken runs or several shorter lengths. Matching drivers and connectors are stocked across our LED strip range.

Frequently Asked
Does this strip need a driver?
Yes. It runs on 24V DC, not mains voltage, so it needs a matching 24V LED driver rated for the total wattage of the length you install. The driver is supplied separately. At 7.5W per metre, size the driver to cover the full run with a little headroom.
Where on the reel can it be cut?
The strip can be shortened at the marked cut points, which fall every 5cm along the reel. Cut only on these marks to keep each section working. The 20m reel can be divided into several shorter lengths for different areas.
Can it be used outdoors or in a bathroom?
No. This strip is rated IP00, which means dry indoor use only. Keep it clear of bathrooms, showers, damp areas and any outdoor or sheltered-outdoor position. For wet or exposed spots, choose a coated IP65 strip instead.
How do I keep it clean?
Switch the supply off and let the strip cool, then wipe the surface with a dry or barely damp lint-free cloth. Avoid solvents and do not soak it, as it carries no moisture protection. A gentle wipe clears dust and keeps the cool white output even.
