Description
This COB LED strip runs as a continuous, dot-free line of light along a flexible 25m reel, putting out 950 lumens per metre at 10 watts per metre in a crisp 6500K daylight tone. Unlike older spaced-diode tape, the COB construction packs the diodes into one even band, so there are no visible hotspots or shadow gaps along the run. What American buyers call COB led tape light is the same product, and its high Ra 90 colour rendering keeps surfaces and finishes looking true. It cuts cleanly at the marked points every 2.5 cm, letting you tailor each length to the space.
The IP65 rating makes this strip a good fit for damp and sheltered outdoor settings as well as indoor runs, so it covers kitchen plinths and under-cabinet lines, cove and shelf detailing, stair edges, and exterior eaves or patio borders. Coverage is best judged by the length you install rather than a floor area, since this is a linear accent and task line rather than ambient room lighting. The daylight output gives a clean, bright wash that suits worktops and detailing where colour accuracy matters. Plan the reel into your layout by the run length you need, cutting only at the marked 2.5 cm intervals.
The strip is built on a flexible reel and runs on 12V DC, so it needs a matching 12V LED driver, which is sold separately and must be sized to the total wattage of the run you install. The IP65 coating seals the strip against moisture and dust for wet and exposed positions, while the rated lifespan reaches 30,000 hours. Self-adhesive backing supports most clean, dry mounting surfaces. We also stock matching drivers and profiles across the range to complete an installation.

Frequently Asked
Does this strip need a driver, and what size?
Yes. This is a 12V DC strip, so it cannot connect straight to the mains and needs a 12V LED driver, which is sold separately. Size the driver to the total wattage of the run you install, allowing 10 watts for every metre of strip, plus a little headroom.
Where can the strip be cut?
The strip cuts to length only at the marked cut points, which fall every 2.5 cm along the reel. Cutting at any other position will damage the affected section, so always trim on the printed line. Each cut length still runs from the same 12V driver.
Can it be used outdoors or in damp areas?
Yes. The IP65 rating means the strip is coated against moisture and dust, so it suits damp and sheltered outdoor positions such as eaves, patio borders and covered exterior runs, as well as kitchens and bathrooms indoors. Keep the driver itself in a dry, protected location.
How do I clean the strip?
Wipe the strip gently with a soft, dry or barely damp cloth to lift dust and grime from the IP65 coating. Avoid solvents and abrasive cleaners, which can mark the surface. Make sure the strip is switched off and dry before it is powered back on.
