Description
This COB LED strip puts out a continuous, dot-free line of light along a flexible 25m reel, drawing 10W per metre for 860 lumens per metre in a warm white 3000K tone. Where spaced SMD strips show individual diodes, the COB construction gives an even band with no visible hot spots, which is what makes it the choice many buyers reach for when they search led strip lights and want a clean run rather than a row of dots. American shoppers will know this format as led tape or tape light, and the same uses apply on either side of the Atlantic.
Use it under kitchen cabinets and shelves, around coving, along stair edges or to outline a bar, pergola or sheltered patio. Because it carries an IP65 rating the strip is coated against moisture and copes with damp and exposed outdoor positions, so it works in a bathroom cove, a covered porch or a garden structure as readily as a dry living room. It does not light a room on its own in the way a panel does, so think of it as accent and outline light: a soft, continuous warm-white wash that grazes a surface or marks a line rather than filling a space.
The strip cuts to length at the marked points every 2.5 cm, so you can size each run to the cabinet, shelf or recess exactly. It runs on 12V DC, which means it is not a mains-direct product and needs a matching 12V LED driver, supplied separately, sized to the total wattage of the run you cut. Colour rendering is a high Ra90 for accurate tones on food, worktops and finishes, and rated life is 30,000 hours. Our wider COB strip range covers other outputs in this base name, with drivers and connectors available to complete the install.

Frequently Asked
Does this strip need a driver?
Yes. It runs on 12V DC rather than direct mains, so it needs a 12V LED driver, which is sold separately. Size the driver to the total wattage of the length you cut, allowing 10W for every metre in the run.
Where can the strip be cut?
The reel cuts to length at the marked cut points, which fall every 2.5 cm along the strip. Only cut at those marks, and join sections with the matching connectors or solder so each cut length still works.
Can it be used outdoors or in damp areas?
Yes. The IP65 rating means the strip is coated against moisture, so it is suitable for exposed outdoor and wet locations such as covered patios, pergolas and bathroom coving. Keep the driver and any connections in a dry or suitably enclosed position.
How do I keep it clean?
Wipe the coated surface with a soft, dry or barely damp cloth once the strip is switched off. Avoid solvents and abrasive cleaners, which can mark the coating, and make sure the strip is fully dry before powering it back on.
