Description

The COB LED Strip gives a continuous, dot-free line of light along a flexible reel, with the diodes set in a solid run rather than the spaced dots of older led tape. It draws 10W per metre and delivers 920 lumens per metre in a warm white 3000K tone, with a high Ra 90 colour rendering that keeps surfaces and finishes looking true. The reel measures 25m, and the strip cuts to length at marked points every 5cm so a run can be sized to the job. The strip suits indoor accent and task runs where a clean line of light is wanted: under kitchen cabinets, along shelving and coving, behind a headboard, or to graze a wall or alcove. Yes. It runs on 24V DC, so it needs a matching 24V LED driver, which is sold separately. It does not plug straight into a mains socket, and the driver should be rated for the total wattage of the length you fit.

Can the strip be cut to length?

Yes. The strip cuts at marked points every 5cm, so you can size each run to the surface or edge you are lighting. Only cut at the marked intervals to keep the circuit intact.

Can it be used outdoors or in a bathroom?

No. This strip is rated IP00, which is for dry indoor use only. Keep it out of bathrooms, damp areas and any outdoor position.

How do I clean and maintain it?

Switch off and let it cool, then wipe the surface gently with a dry or barely damp lint-free cloth. Avoid solvents and do not soak the strip, as it carries no moisture protection.
