Description
This COB LED strip light gives a continuous, dot-free line of light along a flexible 25m reel, with no visible diodes to break up the run. It draws 10W per metre and puts out 860 lumens per metre in a 3000K warm white tone, with a high CRI of Ra90 for accurate colour. Known in the US as COB LED tape, it cuts to length at the marked points every 5cm, so the run can be sized to the job. It runs on 24V DC, so it needs a matching 24V LED driver, supplied separately.
Because it carries an IP65 rating, this strip suits both dry interiors and damp or sheltered outdoor locations. It works well as a continuous outline for cove and coffer detailing, under kitchen cabinets and shelving, along stair edges, or around a covered patio or pergola. The even, dot-free output is well suited to grazing along a surface where spaced diodes would otherwise show, and the warm 3000K tone keeps the effect soft rather than clinical. Throw stays close and linear, marking edges and ledges rather than lighting a whole room.
The strip is a flexible reel that bends around corners and curves, and the IP65 coating seals it against moisture and dust for outdoor and wet-area use. Cut only at the marked 5cm intervals, then feed each section from a 24V DC driver rated for the total length in use. Rated for around 30,000 hours, it offers a long service life across permanent installations.

Frequently Asked
Does this strip need a driver?
Yes. It runs on 24V DC, so it cannot connect straight to the mains and needs a 24V LED driver, which is supplied separately. Choose a driver rated for the total wattage of the length you install, at 10W per metre.
Can the strip be cut to length?
Yes. It cuts at the marked points every 5cm, so you can trim it to fit the run. Only cut at those marks, and keep any unused offcut for a separate section.
Is it suitable for outdoor or damp use?
Yes. The IP65 rating means it is coated against moisture and dust, so it works in damp and sheltered outdoor spots such as a covered patio, pergola or eaves, as well as dry interiors.
How should the strip be cleaned?
Wipe the surface gently with a soft, dry or barely damp cloth once the power is off. Avoid solvents and harsh cleaners, which can mark the coating, and do not soak the cut ends.
