Description

A slender column of smoked glass on a small E14 cap, this is a bulb meant to be seen rather than tucked away behind a shade. It stands 280mm tall and just 30mm across, so it draws a fine vertical line wherever it is fitted. The tinted glass takes the edge off the LED inside, and the light itself is a clean cool white that keeps whites looking white and metals looking crisp. It is dimmable too, given a dimmer rated for LED loads.

We reach for tubes like this where the bulb is on show: open pendants, bare-flex clusters, cage lanterns and multi-arm fittings that were never meant to carry a shade.
