Class 20 Light Glass Crystal Semi-Flush Ceiling Light - Polished Chrome

The Class is a 600mm diameter crystal semi-flush ceiling light built on a polished chrome circular base plate, with 20 individual G4 bulb positions arranged across multiple tiers. Each bulb is surrounded by curved glass arms and faceted crystal droplets that cascade downwards from the chrome framework, creating a layered effect across the 370mm projection from ceiling to lowest crystal.

Designed for living rooms, dining rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Class works as both ambient and decorative lighting. The semi-flush mounting keeps the main body closer to the ceiling than a full suspension chandelier, making it suitable for rooms where a traditional drop pendant would hang too low. The 20 G4 bulbs provide distributed light across the 600mm diameter, with the crystal droplets refracting and multiplying the light output across surrounding walls and ceilings.

The polished chrome frame is paired with clear glass curved arms and faceted crystal spheres, giving the fitting a bright, reflective quality that works in both light-toned and darker interiors. The combined weight of chrome, glass and crystal brings the total fitting weight to 14.5kg, requiring secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced plasterboard fixing rated for the load. The fitting is dimmable using a trailing-edge dimmer compatible with G4 halogen bulbs.

The Class ships with 20 G4 halogen bulbs included, each rated at 10W for a combined 200W power draw at full brightness. The black circular ceiling rose visible in the image mounts flush to the ceiling and conceals the wiring connection point, with the chrome framework and glass arms projecting downwards from that base.

Is this dimmable?

Yes. The Class requires a trailing-edge dimmer compatible with G4 halogen bulbs. Leading-edge dimmers designed for traditional incandescent bulbs may cause flickering or buzzing with the G4 fittings.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 370mm projection from ceiling to lowest crystal point works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In lower-ceiling rooms the crystals may hang into head clearance zones, particularly in circulation areas.

Are the bulbs included?

Yes. The fitting ships with 20 G4 halogen bulbs, each rated at 10W. Replacement G4 bulbs are widely available and sold separately at Niori.

Can it be fitted to a plasterboard ceiling?

The 14.5kg weight requires secure fixing. If ceiling joists are accessible, fix directly to a joist using appropriate fixings. On plasterboard ceilings without joist access, use spring toggle fixings or cavity anchors rated for at least 20kg distributed load.
