Description

We put this Citronic mains cable together for sound and lighting rigs where you need a reliable supply and a secure connection. It uses a twist and lock mechanism at the connector, so once you have made the link and turned it home the power stays put. That matters when leads are getting knocked or pulled on a busy stage or in a mobile setup.

The lead is 6m long and carries a standard UK mains plug (mains lead in the UK, power cord in the US) fitted with a 13A fuse. Inside you get 3 core 1.5mm² copper, which handles the current draw of typical PA and lighting kit without complaint. The cable is finished in black to sit quietly among your other leads and rig hardware.

As well as running power from the wall, these cables work for daisy chaining between units. That lets you link one piece of gear to the next and keep your cable runs tidy rather than trailing separate leads back to a single socket. The twist and lock fittings make each join quick to set up and easy to break down again at the end of the night, and they hold firm while everything is in use.
