Description

We put together these Citronic Twist and Lock cables for anyone running sound and lighting rigs who needs power connections that stay put. The twist and lock mechanism locks each connection in place, so a knock or a tug on the cable won't pull it loose mid-show. That matters when your gear is stacked, rigged overhead, or set up in a busy venue where cables get stepped on and moved around.

The cable is a 1.5 metre length fitted with a UK mains plug carrying a 13A fuse, ready to feed power straight into your setup. Inside you'll find 3 core 1.5mm² copper conductor, which handles the current you'd expect from typical PA and lighting loads. The outer jacket is black, so it blends in against dark staging and floor runs. You can also daisy chain units together, passing power along a line of gear rather than running a separate lead back to the mains for each one.

Handling is straightforward. You line up the connector, push, and give it a twist to lock, and the same in reverse to release. No fiddling, no worrying whether the connection is fully seated. For mobile DJs, bands, and small venues, that means quicker setup and pack-down and fewer surprises during a set. Note that some regions call this style a locking mains lead or power cord, so if you're buying from outside the UK the plug type is what to check first.
