Description

The Chievo is a 2-light floor lamp built around two curved satin chrome stems rising from a shared hexagonal base, each stem supporting a frosted glass cone shade with a G9 bulb fitting. The upper stem arcs to 1340mm height, the lower to approximately 900mm, positioning the two shades at staggered heights to spread light across different zones of a room.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and reading corners where ambient light is needed without ceiling fittings, the Chievo's dual-stem configuration allows both shades to illuminate a sofa or armchair area from different angles. The frosted glass diffuses the bulb light into a soft glow rather than a focused beam, reducing glare for evening use. The 255mm hexagonal footprint gives stability on rugs and bare floors without needing to be weighted, and the satin chrome finish pairs cleanly with both warm-toned and cooler contemporary interiors.

Each G9 socket accepts bulbs up to 40W (included with the lamp). The Chievo is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch — standard halogen G9s dim smoothly, while dimmable LED G9s vary by manufacturer. The satin chrome has a brushed texture that softens reflections under daylight, and the frosted glass hides the bulb filament or LED array from view when the lamp is switched on.

Are the bulbs included?

Yes. The Chievo comes with two G9 bulbs. These are standard halogen G9s rated at 40W each. You can replace them with dimmable LED G9s if you prefer lower energy consumption and cooler running temperatures.

Is the Chievo dimmable?

The lamp itself supports dimming, but you must use dimmable bulbs and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch. The included halogen G9s are dimmable. If you switch to LED G9s, check the bulb packaging confirms dimmer compatibility.

What ceiling height is needed?

The upper stem reaches 1340mm, so the lamp works in rooms with standard 2.4m ceilings and higher. The lower stem sits at approximately 900mm, making it suitable for positioning beside a sofa or armchair without obstructing sightlines.

Can the stems be adjusted?

No. The stems are fixed in position and cannot be bent or repositioned after manufacture. The curvature and height are set to the configuration shown in the product image.
