Description

The Chiara is a 15-light crystal rod chandelier built around a polished gold metal frame with tiered clear glass rods radiating outwards from a central body. The rods sit in two staggered layers of differing lengths, creating a domed silhouette that catches and refracts light from the fifteen E14 lamp holders concealed within. Suspended from a circular gold ceiling plate by a fixed gold drop rod.

Sized at 80cm diameter and 65cm in height, the Chiara is built for larger rooms with generous ceiling clearance. It suits dining rooms above an 8-12 seat table, double-height entrance halls, and formal living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. The fixed drop rod sets the chandelier at a defined height rather than allowing chain adjustment, so it is best specified for rooms where the ceiling height is known in advance.

The clear glass rods are fluted on the outer face, which sharpens the way each rod splits light into vertical lines rather than scattering it broadly. Combined with the warm tone of the polished gold frame, lit bulbs cast amber-edged reflections through the rods while unlit they read as a textured crystal sculpture. The 15 x E14 fittings accept candle bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately), giving substantial output for large spaces.

What ceiling height is needed?

The Chiara uses a fixed gold drop rod rather than a chain, so the overall drop is set at the time of manufacture and is not field-adjustable. Confirm your ceiling height before ordering to ensure the fitting will sit at the correct level.

Is it dimmable?

The chandelier itself has no integrated electronics, so dimming depends entirely on the bulbs fitted and the dimmer switch used. Pair dimmable LED candle bulbs with a compatible LED trailing-edge dimmer for smooth control across all 15 lamps.
