The Chelsie is an 8-light chandelier built on a polished chrome frame with eight curved arms, each terminating in a spherical clear beaded glass shade. The shades are constructed from glass segments arranged in a diamond lattice pattern, creating multiple light-refracting surfaces that scatter soft ambient light across surrounding walls and ceilings when the G9 bulbs inside are lit.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Chelsie provides both ambient and decorative lighting. The 780mm diameter suits rooms of 15-25 square metres without overwhelming the space. The adjustable drop ranges from 630mm minimum to 1550mm maximum, allowing the chandelier to be set at the appropriate height above a dining table (typically 700-900mm) or lower in a double-height entrance hall. The polished chrome canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and the chain conceals the cable run.

The beaded glass shades diffuse light through the diamond lattice structure, softening the direct output from each G9 bulb and casting patterned shadows onto nearby surfaces. The polished chrome finish on the frame and canopy provides high reflectivity, amplifying the light from the bulbs and adding brightness to the fixture when viewed from below. At 4kg the chandelier requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or suitable anchor point. The chandelier uses eight G9 capsule bulbs, each up to 33W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit warm-white LED G9 bulbs between 2-4W and 2700K-3000K for ambient dining room or living room lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, if you fit dimmable G9 bulbs and pair the chandelier with a compatible dimmer switch. The chandelier itself is dimmer-compatible, but the bulbs must also be rated as dimmable.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop is 630mm, so rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above work best. For dining tables the chandelier typically sits 700-900mm above the table surface. The maximum drop of 1550mm allows lower positioning in double-height spaces or entrance halls.
