This is a velvet cushion built around one image: a single cheetah, standing in profile against a dense botanical background of overlapping palm fronds. The face is printed with real detail, the coat spotted and tawny, and it sits on a warm gold ground that runs through the whole front panel. The cover is made from 100% polyester velvet, which gives it a soft, short pile with a faint sheen that shifts as the light moves across it. At 30 x 50cm it is a lumbar shape rather than a square, so it reads as a landscape panel and gives the animal room to sit lengthways across the front.
