Description

The Chateau is a 638mm diameter chandelier built around six candle-style E14 fittings arranged on a scrollwork steel frame finished in mocha bronze. Crystal droplets hang from the curved arms and central column, catching and refracting light from the candle flames. The frame uses traditional hand-forged scrollwork techniques, with each arm curving out from a central column and ending in a candle cup positioned approximately 300mm from the centre.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height foyers with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the chandelier provides ambient light from six independent candle sources rather than a single central bulb. The 1524mm chain allows the drop to be adjusted between 683mm minimum and 2429mm maximum on installation, meaning the fitting can be set 750-900mm above a dining table or hung longer in a stairwell. The mocha bronze finish is a mid-tone metallic brown that sits between antique brass and darker bronze, pairing with both warm wood tones and cooler grey or taupe walls.

The crystal droplets are facet-cut glass in a teardrop profile, hung on fine chain links that allow them to move slightly when air circulates. The combined steel frame and crystal give the fitting a substantial presence without the weight of a full crystal chandelier. The scrollwork includes small decorative finials at key joints, adding detail when the chandelier is viewed from below at a dining table.
