Description

The Chapel is a traditional outdoor wall lantern with a black die-cast aluminium frame, clear glass panels and a single E27 bulb fitting that directs light upwards. The lantern head measures 205mm wide and projects 297mm from the wall on a curved mounting bracket, creating both decorative presence and functional illumination for porches, patios and house facades.

Designed for upward light distribution, the Chapel casts light onto the wall above the fitting and up under porch ceilings rather than directly outward. This makes it particularly suited to entrance doors where you want to illuminate the door frame and overhead area without creating glare at eye level, and to positions under eaves where the reflected light from the wall provides ambient coverage. The clear glass maximises light output while the pagoda-style roof and tapered frame give the fitting a coach-house character that pairs well with period properties and traditional garden schemes.

The die-cast aluminium construction and black powder-coated finish resist corrosion in coastal and exposed conditions, while the IP44 rating protects internal components from rain and moisture ingress.
