Description
The Cerler is an outdoor LED wall light with a 210mm frosted white disc diffuser mounted on a cylindrical anthracite backplate that projects 245mm from the wall. The integrated 10W LED produces 700 lumens at 3000K warm white, directed downward through the frosted acrylic disc to create a broad pool of light on the ground below the fitting.
Designed for exterior wall mounting on house facades, garden walls, pathways and entrance porches, the Cerler works where downward task light is needed without upward light spill. The IP54 rating provides protection against dust ingress and water spray from any direction, allowing the fitting to remain exposed year-round in UK weather. The 162mm overall height and 245mm projection suit standard brick or rendered walls with typical 100mm cavity construction.
The anthracite powder-coated aluminium backplate and arm resist corrosion in coastal and urban environments. The frosted diffuser softens the LED source and prevents harsh glare when viewed from the side, while the flat disc profile gives the fitting a contemporary silhouette that reads cleanly against rendered or brick surfaces. The non-dimmable LED runs on standard 230V mains wiring with no transformer required.
Mantra is a Spanish lighting manufacturer known for contemporary outdoor and indoor designs that balance form and function. The Cerler sits within their outdoor range alongside bollards and post lights using similar disc diffuser geometry.

Frequently Asked
Is the Cerler suitable for coastal locations?
The IP54 rating provides protection against dust and water spray, and the anthracite powder-coated aluminium resists corrosion in most UK coastal environments. For very exposed locations with direct salt spray, consider a higher IP-rated fitting or plan for periodic cleaning to remove salt deposits.
Can it be fitted to a timber wall or fence?
Yes. The backplate has mounting holes for screws and the fitting weighs 1.31kg, which standard 100mm fence posts or shiplap cladding can support. Ensure the cable entry point is sealed with appropriate outdoor-rated glands to maintain weatherproofing.
Does the light throw upward or downward?
The LED is positioned to direct light downward through the frosted disc. There is minimal upward light spill, making the Cerler suitable for locations where you want ground illumination without lighting the wall above the fitting.
What's the coverage area on the ground?
At typical mounting heights of 1.8-2.4m, the 700 lumen output creates a pool of warm light approximately 1.5-2m in diameter directly below the fitting. The exact spread depends on mounting height and wall reflectance.
