Description

The Cembrano is an LED flush ceiling light in black and natural, 50cm long, 21cm wide and 8cm high, so it sits close to the ceiling. A black steel base carries a row of natural wood slats separated by strips of black felt. Across them sit two offset square frames, black on the outer edge with white plastic diffusers. The LED light gives 1,600 lumens, a generous output for a main ceiling light. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in dry rooms, and never in a bathroom or anywhere near water.

At only 8cm high, it suits rooms where a pendant would hang too low, such as a hallway, a landing or a living room with a modest ceiling height. The long, narrow shape lines up neatly along a corridor or over a sofa. The layered slats and squares give a plain ceiling real depth and pattern even in daylight hours. The black and natural finish sits comfortably alongside light wood shelving, slatted wall panels and soft neutral walls. The construction mixes three materials: steel for the base, wood for the slats and felt for the dark strips between them.
