The Cembrano is an LED flush ceiling light made of two overlapping rings, one large and one small, set in front of a round black base laid with pale natural slats. The body brings together steel, wood and felt in black and natural, and the rings carry white plastic shades that give each one its band of light. It measures 41cm long, 30cm wide and 8cm high, so it sits close to the ceiling and keeps headroom generous where a pendant would hang too low. The LED light source gives 1,900lm, a strong output for a main ceiling light. With an IP20 rating it belongs indoors in dry rooms, so it is not one for bathrooms or outdoors.

We see it as the main light in a living room, bedroom, dining room or home office, anywhere a plain fitting would feel like a missed chance. The mix of black and natural sits comfortably beside oak furniture, slatted wall panels and pared-back modern interiors, and the black edges on the rings draw a crisp outline against a pale ceiling.
