Celsa 4 Light Crystal Flush Ceiling Light - Black Faux Leather

The Celsa is a 450mm flush ceiling light built around a black faux leather cylindrical frame with a full circular band of cut crystal droplets suspended beneath the upper rim and a frosted white glass diffuser closing the base. Four E14 bulbs inside (sold separately) light the crystals from above and diffuse through the frosted glass below, combining ambient downlight with decorative sparkle from the crystal ring.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or lower where a pendant would hang too far into the space, the 200mm projection keeps the fitting close to the ceiling while the 450mm diameter provides enough scale to anchor a bedroom, lounge, hallway or den without dominating. The black matte texture of the faux leather band contrasts with the polished chrome internal fittings and the reflective facets of the crystals, giving a high-contrast modern appearance that pairs with monochrome interiors, polished concrete, glass furniture and brushed metal fixtures.

The frosted glass diffuser softens the downward light, preventing glare when the fitting is viewed from below, while the crystals above catch and fracture the bulb light into prismatic highlights across the black frame. The faux leather is stitched and shaped to mimic genuine leather texture, adding a tactile detail unusual in crystal ceiling lights. At 4.8kg the fitting needs secure ceiling fixings into a joist or ceiling batten rather than plasterboard alone.

What bulbs does the Celsa take?

The fitting takes four E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to balance the crystal sparkle with comfortable ambient light.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 200mm projection from ceiling to base makes the Celsa ideal for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or lower, where a pendant light would hang too far into the room. The 450mm diameter provides enough visual scale without projecting downward.

Is the Celsa dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable E14 bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself is dimmer-ready but bulb choice determines final dimming performance.

How is the faux leather maintained?

Wipe the black faux leather frame with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks use a barely-damp cloth with plain water. Avoid household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners which can degrade the faux leather finish. The crystals can be wiped gently with a dry cloth or lightly dampened if needed.
