Description

The Celine is an 8-light crystal chandelier built on an aged silver frame with eight candle-style arms arranged in two tiers. Each arm terminates in an E14 bulb holder fitted with a brass candle sleeve, and the frame supports multiple strands of faceted crystal beads draped between the arms, plus long crystal droplets hanging from the centre. The 700mm diameter suits dining rooms and larger living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above.

Designed for installation over dining tables, in entrance halls, or as a centrepiece in dual-aspect living rooms, the Celine provides both decorative presence and functional overhead light when fitted with eight E14 candle bulbs (sold separately, up to 20W per socket). The adjustable drop from 1030mm to 2520mm allows the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining surface or hung higher in double-height spaces. The aged silver finish on the metalwork gives a softer, slightly antiqued tone compared to polished chrome or nickel.

The crystal strands are hand-strung onto the frame during assembly, and the droplets attach via metal loops, so individual elements can be repositioned or replaced if needed. The 5.6kg weight requires a ceiling joist or reinforced fixing point capable of supporting at least 10kg dynamic load. The chandelier is dimmable when paired with dimmable E14 LED or halogen bulbs and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch. From Diyas Lighting.

The chandelier uses eight E14 small Edison screw bulbs, up to 20W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 3-6W and 2700K-3000K to mimic traditional chandelier lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable E14 bulbs and paired with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch. The chandelier itself has no built-in electronics that would prevent dimming.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop is 1030mm from ceiling rose to the bottom of the longest crystal droplet. For a dining table installation with the chandelier sitting 750-900mm above the table surface, a ceiling height of 2.6m or above is recommended. The maximum drop of 2520mm suits double-height entrance halls or gallery landings.

How is the chandelier cleaned?

Switch off at the mains before cleaning. Wipe the aged silver frame with a dry microfibre cloth. Individual crystal strands and droplets can be wiped with a barely-damp cloth or a specialist crystal cleaner. Avoid soaking the metal frame or using abrasive materials that could scratch the finish.
