Description

The Celestia is a 75cm brass LED wall light built around two integrated LED strips housed in a slender linear profile that projects just 55mm from the wall. The fitting delivers 13W of warm 3000K light from both ends of the central brass canopy, creating symmetrical wash light along the wall surface in both directions.

Designed for bathrooms, kitchens, hallways and over mirrors where a clean horizontal light source is needed, the Celestia carries an IP44 rating that allows installation in zones 2 and 3 of UK bathrooms and in splash-prone areas around sinks and worktops. The 75cm length suits positions above medium to large bathroom mirrors, kitchen splashbacks between 900-1200mm wide, and corridor walls where the fitting acts as both functional and accent lighting.

The brass finish is applied to the central canopy and end caps, giving a warm metallic accent that works with both contemporary brass-trimmed interiors and traditional schemes. The frosted diffuser along each LED strip softens the light output and prevents glare when the fitting is mounted at eye level. At just 15mm in height, the profile sits almost flush to the wall once installed, making it suitable for low-ceiling spaces and narrow hallways where projection matters.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

Yes. The IP44 rating allows installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3, meaning it can be fitted outside the immediate shower or bath area but within the general bathroom space. It is not suitable for zone 0 or 1 (inside or directly above a bath or shower enclosure).

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and rated for approximately 30,000 hours of use. At typical residential use of 3-4 hours per day, this equates to 20+ years before replacement of the entire fitting becomes necessary.

What width mirror does the 75cm length suit?

The 75cm fitting works above mirrors between 600-900mm wide as a centred over-mirror light, or above wider mirrors (up to 1200mm) when mounted slightly off-centre or paired with a second Celestia to create balanced lighting across the mirror width.

Does it need a special switch or dimmer?

The fitting is not dimmable and operates on standard 230V mains power via a conventional on/off switch. No special wiring or dimmer compatibility is required.
