Description

The Castagneto is a slim, round LED flush ceiling light in white, 26cm across and just 5cm deep, so it sits close to the ceiling and keeps low rooms and passageways feeling open. The body is white plastic, and the opal diffuser spreads the light evenly across its face. Integrated LEDs draw 16.5W and give 2,100lm, a bright output from a fitting this slim. It is rated IP54, which means it is protected against dust and splashing water, so it can live outdoors under a porch or canopy as well as anywhere indoors.

That rating lets one light do jobs a standard ceiling light cannot: a covered porch, a balcony walkway, a carport or a garage, as well as a utility room or a steamy kitchen. Indoors it suits hallways, landings and bedrooms too, anywhere you want clean, even light without a fussy shade gathering dust. Because the same plain white disc works indoors and outdoors, you can carry one look from the front porch through to the hall, which keeps a home feeling tidy and considered.

There are three colour temperatures, chosen at the light itself: 2700K for a warm, relaxed glow, 4000K for a crisp neutral white and 6500K for a cool daylight tone that suits a garage or workbench. It is not dimmable and has no switch of its own, so it simply runs from your existing wall switch. The energy class is E, and the packed weight is 0.611KG. As a wired mains light, it should be fitted by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download.
