The Buxton cushion is a 50 x 50cm square made from a soft, luxe-feel woven polyester. The face has a subtle chenille-style texture that catches the light and shifts between a deeper wine and a softer rose as you move around it, giving the heather shade real depth rather than a flat block of colour. It is a reversible design, so both faces are finished the same way and neither is a plain back to be hidden against the sofa.

At 50cm square it is the standard scatter size that most sofas and armchairs are built around, which makes it easy to pair with cushions you already own or to buy several and layer them. The heather tone is a muted, dusky pink that works with warm neutrals, creams and natural woods, and it sits comfortably alongside the other jewel-toned colours in the range if you want to build a mixed group.
