The Bucle is a 630mm semi-flush LED ceiling light built around four continuous polished chrome loops that intersect at the centre canopy and flow outward in an infinity-inspired pattern. Each loop houses a frosted linear LED diffuser that follows the curve of the chrome frame, creating a ribbon of warm 3000K light through the metal structure. The integrated 40W LED produces 3500lm output across the four arms, providing general ambient lighting rather than directed task light.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and dining rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights, the Bucle's 200mm drop suits rooms where a pendant would hang too low but a fully flush fitting lacks visual presence. The looping arms extend 630mm across, making the fitting suitable for spaces of 12-16m². The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and adds visual movement as the viewing angle changes, while the frosted diffuser prevents direct LED glare when viewed from below.

The chrome loops are formed from bent metal tubing with a high-polish finish that shows fingerprints during installation but cleans easily with a soft cloth once fitted. The four arms radiate symmetrically from the central canopy in a balanced composition that reads as sculptural from below but maintains a low enough profile to avoid head clearance issues in typical UK room heights. The frosted diffuser runs the full length of each loop, turning the entire frame into the light source rather than concentrating light at points.

The integrated LED is non-dimmable and non-replaceable — when the LED reaches end-of-life the entire fitting requires replacement. Is the Bucle dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is not compatible with dimmer switches and should be wired to a standard on/off switch only.

What happens when the LED fails?

The LED is integrated and non-replaceable. When the LED reaches end-of-life (typically 20,000-30,000 hours of use), the entire fitting will need to be replaced.

What room size does it suit?

The 3500lm output and 630mm spread make the Bucle suitable for rooms of approximately 12-16m² as the primary light source. Larger rooms may benefit from a second fitting or supplementary lighting.

How is the polished chrome cleaned?

Polished chrome shows fingerprints and dust easily. Wipe with a dry microfibre cloth for routine cleaning. For smudges, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but dry immediately to prevent water spots. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishes that can scratch the chrome surface.
