Description

The Bubble is a 140cm sculptural floor lamp built around a cluster of clear blown-glass globes mounted at the head of a slim brushed gold stem. Six spheres of varied diameter overlap and intersect at different angles, creating the impression of frozen soap bubbles suspended mid-air. An integrated 9W LED at 3000K sits within the cluster and casts warm light through and around the glass.

Designed as decorative ambient lighting rather than directed task light, the Bubble suits living rooms, lounges, entrance halls and bedroom corners where a sculptural floor piece can stand alongside seating or in a quiet corner. The slim 12mm stem rises from a circular brushed gold disc base that keeps the lamp stable on bare floors and short-pile rugs without dominating the floor area beneath it.

The clear glass globes are hand-blown, so each sphere shows minor variations in wall thickness and the way it catches and bends light. The 67cm-wide globe cluster sits offset from the stem, giving the lamp a sense of asymmetric balance — heavy at the top, slender through the middle, weighted at the base. The brushed gold finish on the stem and base softens reflections and pairs with both warm-toned interiors and cooler grey or off-white schemes.

The integrated LED removes the need to source and replace bulbs, and the 3000K colour temperature keeps the light warm rather than clinical, which suits the decorative role the lamp plays in a room. A floor switch on the cable controls power.
