Description

The Brilarne is a set of three round LED downlights, each with a black plastic bezel and a clear plastic cover over a built-in LED, so there is no separate bulb to buy. Each light is 9cm across and sits low against the ceiling, and the inner ring tilts within its bezel, so you can angle the light towards a picture, a shelf or a doorway. Each downlight draws 4.9W and gives 520 lumens. The IP20 rating settles where they belong: indoors and dry, in rooms away from water.

Three matching downlights suit a living room, a hallway, a landing, a bedroom or a home office ceiling, where an even spread of light from several points looks tidier than a single pendant. The colour temperature is adjustable between three settings: 2700K for a warm, relaxed light in the evening, 4000K for a neutral light that suits a desk or a reading corner, and 6500K for a crisp, cool light. That flexibility lets one set suit very different rooms, and you are not committed to a single tone before the ceiling is cut. The black bezels give a neat, graphic finish against a pale ceiling.

The bodies and covers are plastic, and the packed set weighs 0.304KG. They run from 220-240V mains, are not dimmable and have no switch of their own, so they work from an ordinary on/off wall switch rather than a dimmer. The energy class is F. Each downlight needs a 6.8cm cut-out and 2.5cm of depth above the ceiling, so measure the space before you order. As wired-in mains lights, they are installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download.
