Description
The Brayworth is a branch chandelier, 750mm across, with slim metal arms that spread outward like bare twigs and small glass droplets hung along them. Four lamps sit among the branches, and the droplets pick up the light and hold small bright points across the whole spread. The aged silver finish is soft and grey rather than shiny, so the arms look weathered instead of showroom bright. The drop adjusts from 450mm to 1100mm, which keeps this ceiling light within reach of a standard room height, and the fitting weighs 4.4kg.
The wide, low spread makes it a natural choice above a round dining table or a coffee table in a bay, where the branches read as a canopy from below. It also works in a bedroom with a reasonable ceiling, hung so the droplets sit above head height. We would give it a plain background, because a pale wall or a simple ceiling lets the arms be read clearly. It suits anyone drawn to botanical shapes over strict geometry.
Metal arms carry the aged silver finish and the droplets are glass, so the fitting sets a soft grey frame against points of clear sparkle. Four E14 LED lamps of around 6W each sit in the branches, and it is dimmable with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer. Dust the arms with a dry, soft cloth and wipe the droplets individually with a soft dry cloth; skip sprays, which can leave marks on glass and metal. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms, and as a Class 1 fitting it needs an earthed supply. Keep other metalwork in the room simple so the Brayworth stays the busiest thing in it.

Frequently Asked
What are the droplets made from?
Glass. They hang from slim metal arms finished in aged silver, so the fitting mixes matt metal with clear sparkle.
How wide is it?
It spreads 750mm across, with a drop that adjusts between 450mm and 1100mm.
Which bulbs does it need?
Four E14 candle bulbs, and LED candles of around 6W each are a good match for the open branch frame.
How do I clean the glass droplets?
Wipe each one with a soft, dry cloth once the lamps are cool, and dust the arms separately. Avoid sprays.
Where does it work best?
Above a round dining table, a coffee table in a bay, or centred in a bedroom with the droplets above head height.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch in place of a standard one.
