Description

The Bravion Small is a 300mm round flush ceiling light built around a natural Spanish alabaster panel set into a brushed brass rim. An integrated LED behind the stone casts warm 3000K light through the alabaster, so the panel itself becomes the diffuser and reveals the veining and tonal shifts within the stone. Total fitting height is just 50mm from the ceiling.

The low 50mm projection makes the Bravion suitable for hallways, landings, smaller bedrooms, walk-in wardrobes and en-suites where a pendant or semi-flush would sit too low. It works well in rooms with ceiling heights under 2.4m, and the 300mm diameter keeps the fitting in proportion with corridors and compact rooms rather than dominating them. Mounting is direct to a standard ceiling rose position with the brass rim concealing the fixing.

Each alabaster panel is cut from a different section of stone, so the veining pattern, tonal warmth and density of the cloudy white markings vary between fittings. The brushed brass rim has a soft satin sheen rather than a high polish, which keeps reflections muted and pairs the warm metal tone with the natural off-white of the alabaster. Driver electronics are housed within the shallow brass body, so no separate driver box is needed above the ceiling.

Is this suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The Bravion projects just 50mm from the ceiling, making it well-suited to rooms with restricted ceiling heights including hallways, landings, lofts and rooms under 2.4m. It also avoids the head-clearance issues a pendant or semi-flush would create above a bed or in a doorway.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The Bravion is not supplied with a published IP rating, so it should not be installed in bathroom Zones 0, 1 or 2 where direct water contact is possible. For other rooms in the home including hallways, bedrooms and living spaces, no special rating is required.

Does each light look the same?

No. The alabaster panel is cut from natural Spanish stone, so the veining direction, cloud density and warmth of tone differ between individual fittings. This natural variation is a feature of the material, not a quality issue.

Does it need a separate driver?

The LED driver is housed within the shallow brass body of the fitting, so no external driver box is required above the ceiling. The light wires directly to a standard 230V mains supply at the ceiling rose position.
