Description

The Bounds is a 118cm linear pendant built around a slim horizontal bar in matt black, with three down-facing dome shades evenly spaced along its length. Each shade takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately) and the bar is suspended from the ceiling on two thin steel cables, with the power cable running up from one end. The interior of each shade is finished in a paler tone to soften reflected light.

The linear format suits kitchen islands, long dining tables and bench-style breakfast bars where a single round pendant would leave the ends of the surface in shadow. Three separate shades spread light evenly across the worktop or table below, and the down-facing dome geometry concentrates light onto the surface rather than washing the ceiling. Mounting height is typically 700-800mm above a worktop or dining table.

The matt black powder-coated finish on both the bar and the shades reads as a single graphic line against lighter ceilings, which is part of the appeal in pared-back interiors. Total width is 118cm and overall height is 20cm from bar to shade base, with the suspension cables adjustable on installation.
