The Berg is a round in-ground light that recesses flush into ground, decking or driveway, sitting level with the surface so it can be walked or driven over. It takes a single GU10 PAR16 LED lamp up to 10W and runs on 220-240V AC mains, throwing its light upward to graze a wall, tree or facade. Specifiers in the US will know this walk-over format as an in-grade or well light; here it serves the same uplighting job, sinking into the surface rather than standing proud of it.

Recessed into a path, terrace, deck or driveway, the Berg picks out vertical surfaces from below, so it suits washing a garden wall, lighting the trunk of a feature tree or marking a planted border. Because it is buried flush and the beam fires straight up, coverage is better judged by the throw onto whatever sits above it than by any floor area; expect a focused upward graze rather than broad ambient spread. The round Ø113mm body keeps the cut-out compact, and a cluster of units along a frontage builds a rhythm of uplit points across the run.

Built from steel with a stainless steel finish, the Berg carries an IP67 rating, so it is sealed against dust, exposed weather and standing water and an IK08 rating for impact resistance underfoot. Yes. The Berg recesses flush into the surface and carries an IK08 impact rating, so it can be walked over on a path or deck and stands up to vehicle traffic when set correctly into a driveway. Bed it on a firm, well-drained base so the body is fully supported.

Is it suitable for wet and exposed outdoor locations?

Yes. With an IP67 rating it is fully protected against dust and the effects of temporary immersion, so it copes with exposed positions, heavy rain and standing water. That makes it well suited to being buried in ground, decking or paving outdoors.

How is it installed and does it need drainage?
