Description

The Beret is a rectangular outdoor wall light housing two GU10 bulb fittings (sold separately), one firing upward and one downward through a recessed base aperture. The body is formed from graphite-finished metal with a wood-effect panel inset on the front face, creating a two-tone appearance that pairs industrial metal with a natural grain texture.

Designed for external mounting on entrance porches, external hallway walls, and contemporary facades where architectural up/down lighting is needed, the Beret carries an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water jets. The compact 70mm width and 85mm projection keep the fitting close to the wall, reducing protrusion into narrow walkways while the 165mm height provides sufficient separation between the two light sources to prevent glare overlap.

The wood-effect front panel is not real timber — it is a weather-resistant composite with a printed grain pattern that resists UV fading and moisture absorption better than genuine wood in outdoor exposure. The graphite metal body and IP65 construction allow the fitting to remain permanently mounted through UK winter conditions without requiring seasonal removal. Each GU10 socket accepts LED, halogen or CFL bulbs up to the maximum wattage specified in the fitting instructions.
