Description

The Bayview is a 393mm-high pedestal lantern in black aluminium with a Georgian-inspired lantern head, clear bevelled glass panels and a square pedestal base. The lantern houses a single E27 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately, up to 60W) behind four bevelled glass panes set within a moulded aluminium frame topped with a classical domed finial.

Designed for mounting on gate posts, porch plinths, driveway pillars and low garden walls, the pedestal base measures 180mm square and fixes to horizontal surfaces via pre-drilled holes in the underside. The IP44 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making the lantern suitable for year-round outdoor installation in UK weather. The bevelled glass refracts light into crisp patterns across pathways and entrance steps when a clear filament or LED bulb is fitted.

The black finish is a powder-coated aluminium that resists corrosion better than traditional cast iron while maintaining the visual weight of Georgian and Victorian street lantern designs. The bevelled edge on each glass panel catches daylight and lamplight differently depending on viewing angle, adding decorative detail even when the lantern is switched off.
