Below it, a frosted acrylic diffuser with a polished chrome trim covers the lamps, spreading an even wash across the room instead of a ring of bright points. At 60cm across it reads as a large fitting, while the shallow body keeps the whole thing tucked up near the ceiling line, and the pale shade with its bright metalwork stays quiet in a scheme rather than fighting it.

We reach for this one where a dining table, a wide landing or a square hallway needs real output but a hanging pendant would sit too low for comfort.
