Description

A wide, shallow shade in black organza sits above a slim polished nickel stem, and because the weave is fine rather than solid, light passes through the sides as well as spilling from top and bottom. Three candle lamps sit inside, so the glow spreads across the width instead of pooling in one place. A foot switch on the flex handles on and off, so you never need to reach up under the shade. At 45cm across, the shade reads as generous without taking over the corner it stands in.

We reach for this one where a table lamp has nowhere to stand: behind an armchair, at the end of a sofa, in the gap between a bookcase and a window.
