Bano 115cm Dimmable LED Crystal Linear Chandelier - Chrome

The Bano is a 115cm linear chandelier built around a polished chrome rectangular frame measuring 1150mm × 320mm, with cascading strands of faceted clear crystal hanging from the perimeter and base. An integrated 40W LED module inside the frame outputs 4600 lumens at 4000K cool white through a 120° beam angle, with the light passing through the crystal strands to create prismatic refraction and a rain-like effect when lit.

Designed for positioning above kitchen islands, dining tables and commercial reception desks, the Bano's linear format distributes light along its 1.15m length rather than from a single central point. The adjustable drop between 510mm and 1810mm allows the fitting to be set 600-900mm above a worktop or 700-800mm above a dining surface depending on ceiling height. The dual-layer crystal arrangement increases density across the width, giving the fitting visual weight when viewed from the side.

The polished chrome finish on the frame reflects ambient light and amplifies the brightness of the integrated LED, while the faceted crystal strands catch and scatter the cool white output. At 6.9kg the fitting requires secure ceiling fixings into joists or reinforced plasterboard anchors. The LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer (dimmer not included), allowing output to be adjusted from full 4600lm brightness down to a soft glow for evening use.

What type of dimmer does it need?

The integrated LED requires a compatible trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer rated for LED loads. Dimmer compatibility varies by manufacturer, so confirm with the dimmer supplier that their model supports integrated LED fittings at the Bano's 42W power draw before installation.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Individual crystal strands can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth while the fitting is switched off and cool. For deeper cleaning, dampen the cloth slightly with distilled water and dry immediately. Avoid household sprays, ammonia-based cleaners and abrasive materials that can dull the faceted surfaces or damage the polished chrome frame.

What ceiling fixings are needed?

At 6.9kg the Bano requires ceiling fixings into joists or robust plasterboard anchors rated for the weight. The dual anchor points distribute the load, but installation into solid timber joists or concrete ceilings is recommended for long-term security. If fixing into plasterboard, use spring toggles or metal cavity anchors rated for at least 10kg each.
