Description

The Bano is a 102cm linear crystal chandelier built on a polished chrome rectangular frame measuring 1020mm by 330mm, with three layers of cascading crystal strands hanging from the frame's underside. An integrated 46W LED module runs the length of the frame, delivering 3700 lumens at 4000K cool white through the crystal, with full dimming capability when paired with a compatible dimmer.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls where horizontal scale matters, the Bano's 1020mm length suits tables between 1800-2400mm or islands between 2000-2600mm. The adjustable suspension cable allows the fitting to hang between 500mm and 1850mm below the ceiling rose, giving flexibility across ceiling heights from 2.4m to 3.5m. The polished chrome finish reflects light back through the crystal strands, amplifying sparkle under both natural daylight and when the LEDs are active.

Each of the three crystal layers is strung on stainless steel wire, with individual faceted beads cut to refract light at multiple angles. The layered arrangement creates depth when viewed from the side and a curtain effect when viewed head-on. At 11.4kg the fitting requires a ceiling structure capable of supporting distributed weight, the polished chrome frame spreads the load across its 102cm span, but the ceiling rose and fixing point must be secure. The 4000K colour temperature suits contemporary and commercial-style interiors; warmer residential schemes may prefer a 3000K alternative if available in the Bano range.

The 1020mm length works over dining tables between 1800-2400mm or kitchen islands between 2000-2600mm. For longer surfaces, two Bano fittings can be installed in sequence, or a longer model from the Bano range may be available.

What ceiling height is required?

The minimum 500mm drop suits ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. For higher ceilings up to 3.5m, the suspension cable extends to 1850mm, allowing the fitting to be positioned 700-900mm above a table or island surface.

Can the crystal strands be removed for cleaning?

The crystal strands are individually strung on stainless steel wire. They can be cleaned in situ with a dry microfibre cloth or a barely-damp cloth for stubborn marks. Removing strands for deep cleaning is possible but requires care to avoid tangling the wires during reassembly.
