Description
This B22 GLS LED bulb takes the classic rounded A60 household shape, the everyday light bulb form most homes already use. It fits a B22 Bayonet (BC) cap, the standard push-and-twist fitting, and US buyers will know the equivalent A19 profile. Drawing 7 W, it gives 810 lumens of 2700K warm white light at 116 lm/W, replacing a 60 W old bulb while using a fraction of the power. The 320 degree beam spreads light broadly in every direction, so it lights a room evenly rather than throwing a narrow spot.
Being a general-purpose bulb, it suits the fittings you reach for most: pendants, table and floor lamps, wall lights and ceiling fittings across living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and kitchens. The wide 320 degree spread and warm 2700K tone make it a comfortable choice for relaxed, ambient spaces rather than task corners, and the omnidirectional output means it works equally well pointing up in an open shade or down in an enclosed one. As an indoor bulb rated IP20, keep it to dry interior fittings and clear of bathrooms, porches and any exposed outdoor positions.
The bulb uses visible LED filaments behind clear glass, giving the warm vintage look of an old wire-filament lamp without the running cost. At Ø60 by 105 mm and 30 g it matches the dimensions of a standard bulb, so it drops straight into existing fittings. Rendering colour at Ra 80 and rated for 15,000 hours, it runs on 220 to 240 V AC mains and is non-dimmable, so pair it with a standard on or off switch rather than a dimmer. It is part of a wider B22 bulb range that also includes an opal finish and other wattages.

Frequently Asked
Which fitting does this bulb need?
It has a B22 Bayonet cap, often written BC, which is the common push-in-and-twist fitting used across the UK. In the US the closest household equivalent is the A19 shape. Check your existing bulb has the two-pin bayonet base before ordering.
What old bulb wattage does it replace?
It draws just 7 W yet produces 810 lumens, which matches the output of a 60 W old incandescent bulb. You get the same brightness for around a tenth of the energy, and the bulb itself only ever uses 7 W.
Is this bulb dimmable?
No, this is a non-dimmable bulb. Use it with a standard on or off switch rather than a dimmer circuit, as pairing it with a dimmer can cause flicker or shorten its life.
What does the warm white tone look like?
At 2700K it gives a soft, warm white light close to a traditional filament bulb, ideal for relaxed living and bedroom settings. The visible LED filaments behind clear glass add a vintage glow, and colour rendering at Ra 80 keeps everyday surfaces looking natural.
