Description
This B22 GLS LED bulb is a classic A60 household shape with a bayonet (BC) cap, drawing 10 W to give 1520 lumens of light. The light source is warm white at 2700K, with a colour rendering of Ra 80 for natural-looking tones across walls, furniture and skin. A wide 320 degree beam spreads light evenly in most directions rather than in a tight cone, so it works as a general-purpose lamp. If you are shopping in the US, this is the same A19-style bulb on a bayonet fitting, where the screw equivalent would be the familiar Edison cap.
The bulb uses visible LED filaments inside clear glass for a vintage look, so it suits open and exposed fittings where the lamp itself is on show, such as pendants, table lamps and wall fittings in living rooms, bedrooms and hallways. At 10 W it replaces a 99 W old incandescent bulb, so it is a direct swap for older high-wattage lamps while drawing far less power. Coverage is broad and ambient rather than directional, lighting a room generally rather than throwing a focused beam onto a single spot. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and any damp or outdoor location.
The lamp measures 60 mm in diameter by 105 mm long and weighs 34 g, running on 220 to 240 V AC mains through its B22 bayonet base. Efficiency is rated at 152 lm/W, with a stated lifespan of 10,000 hours. This bulb is non-dimmable, so pair it with a standard switch rather than a dimmer circuit. Our wider range of B22 LED bulbs covers other wattages and shapes on the same bayonet fitting.

Frequently Asked
Which fitting does this bulb need?
This bulb has a B22 cap, also known as a bayonet or BC fitting. You push it in and twist a quarter turn to lock it. It will not fit screw-cap holders such as E27 or E14.
What old bulb wattage does it replace?
It draws only 10 W but replaces a 99 W old incandescent bulb, giving 1520 lumens. So it is a straight swap for an older high-wattage lamp while using far less electricity.
Is this bulb dimmable?
No, this is a non-dimmable bulb. Use it on a standard on and off switch rather than a dimmer, as fitting it to a dimmer circuit can cause flicker or buzzing.
What colour is the light?
It gives a warm white tone at 2700K, which is soft and yellow-toned rather than bright and cool. With a colour rendering of Ra 80 it shows colours naturally, making it well suited to living rooms and bedrooms.
