Description
The Aurora is a 600mm crystal chandelier with six E14 candle-style bulbs arranged on a polished chrome frame, surrounded by cascading cut crystal droplets and a central crystal sphere drop. The chrome arms curve upward from a central column, each supporting a bulb holder and a drape of faceted crystal beads that catch and refract light across the room.
Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or higher, the Aurora sits 570mm from ceiling rose to the bottom of the central crystal drop. The 600mm diameter suits tables between 1.4m and 1.8m in length, or entry halls where the chandelier can hang centrally without obstructing movement. The fixture is dimmable when paired with compatible E14 dimmable bulbs and a suitable dimmer switch, allowing light output to be adjusted from ambient to task level.
Each crystal droplet is cut with multiple facets that reflect and split light into prismatic patterns on surrounding walls and ceilings when the bulbs are lit. The polished chrome finish on the metal frame acts as a secondary reflector, bouncing light back through the crystal. The IP20 rating restricts the Aurora to dry indoor locations only — it is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens near hobs, or outdoor use.
The chandelier is supplied with a grey fabric chain cover that conceals the cable run from ceiling rose to the top of the chrome column. Installation requires a ceiling rose rated for the combined weight of the fitting, and bulbs are sold separately. Ideal Lux provides a 5-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Aurora take?
The chandelier takes six E14 candle bulbs, sold separately. Most users fit warm-white LED E14 candles between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to replicate the appearance of traditional candle flames. For dimming, ensure the bulbs are labelled as dimmable and compatible with your dimmer switch.
What table size does this suit?
The 600mm diameter works well above dining tables between 1.4m and 1.8m in length. For larger tables over 2m, consider hanging two smaller pendants or a chandelier with a wider spread. The chandelier should sit 700-900mm above the table surface depending on ceiling height.
Can the crystals be cleaned?
Yes. Switch off the power at the consumer unit before cleaning. Use a dry microfibre cloth to wipe each crystal droplet, or a barely-damp cloth for stubborn marks. Avoid spraying household cleaners directly onto the crystals as residue can dull the facets over time.
Is it suitable for low ceilings?
The 570mm drop from ceiling rose to the bottom of the central crystal sphere means the Aurora needs a ceiling height of at least 2.5m to avoid head clearance issues in high-traffic areas. Rooms with 2.3-2.4m ceilings can still accommodate it if the chandelier hangs in a corner or above a fixed piece of furniture.
